If there is one thing I loved during my vacation, it would have to be the Hippy Market in Ibiza!
There are a ton of stores when roaming around the area. Not only do you have tons of trinkets to see, but they have the bohemian vibe anyone would love. It’s one of the best places to visit if you’re wondering what to do in Ibiza! But where should you go and how can you start shopping for some excellent items? Read on as I’ll be showing you a quick and informative guide to the Hippy Market in Ibiza!
The Hippy Market In Ibiza: The Best Shops to Visit
There are dozens of stores you can check out to suit your bohemian style! That’s why I want to share the three best ones you MUST visit!
1. Playa d’en Bossa Artisan Street Market
This is the one I visited because it’s right by my hotel, Santos Ibiza! You’ll find a ton of beautiful artisan products here. I mean just look at these fantastic anklets and headbands I found! They’re so colorful and look lovely on anyone. Another plus is that there are street pantomimes and musicians around. I had such fun walking around here because of its charm and bohemian vibe.
They are open every day from May to September from 6 PM to 11 PM.
2. Punta Arabi Market in Es Cana
Punta Arabi is over three decades old, probably the biggest and oldest Hippy Market in Ibiza. There are over 500 artisans who offer charming and vibrant crafts and trinkets. You can even bring your kids with you, as there are spaces made especially for them.
They are open every Wednesdays from April to October. In April, May, and October, they open from 10 AM to 6 PM. In June, July, and September, they are open from 10 AM to 7 PM.
3. Las Dalias Market in San Carlos
If you want a more relaxed vibe, then I recommend Las Dalias. You can spend your dinner here with live music and cozy surroundings. Plus, there are art workshops and fund captivities for the little ones!
They are open during July and August. In July, they are open every Monday and Tuesday from 7 PM onwards. In August, they are open every Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 7 PM onwards.
Some Shopping Tips When In Ibiza
Here are a few tips I learned when shopping at the hippy market in Ibiza:
- It can get quite crowded in the Hippy Market, so make sure that you visit at times when it isn’t too hot or during peak times. It’s best to head on once they open to get a whole view of it without too many people entering yet.
- Because it can get quite crowded, it also gets hot! Bring a bottle of water or drinks to keep you hydrated the whole time.
- If you’re with family or friends, make sure that you each have a phone or device to locate each member. This will prevent any issues in case someone gets lost.
