Oscar Best Dressed Celebrities | 2016
So Oscars 2016 took place last night and it’s safe to say that Leonardo Dicaprio’s long-awaited win stole the show completely. Just like every year, the show was great with a few memorable performances including the legendary Lady Gaga and Sam Smith. The host of Oscars 2016, Chris Rock did a fantastic job and kept his audiences hooked. The best actor award was won by Leo for The Revenant and Brie Larson took the best actress award home for the movie Room. There were so many best moments from the show like Leonardo’s deep acceptance speech about global warming, Lady Gaga’s touching performance, Mad Max: The Fury Road taking home six awards and more… All in all, it was a wonderful show and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ll mention the list of Oscars 2016 winners, in case you missed it… 🙂
But as you guys know, my favorite segment still remains the RED CARPET and all the glamorous dresses celebrities wore at the Oscars 2016. Oscars is the biggest night in the Hollywood world and all celebrities attempt to bring their A-game on the red carpet and I must say, it was really hard to choose the best-dressed celebs this time because MOST of them brought it… So, here’s my list of Oscar BEST DRESSED celebrities at the Oscars 2016.
1. Charlize Theron
This hottie didn’t fear wearing red on the red carpet like most celebs and definitely turned heads there. 40-year-old Theron chose this very simple yet elegant red gown by Dior. The deep plunging neckline and the mini train behind her made this dress perfect for the biggest award night.
2. Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon stunned in a gorgeous blue-ish purple dress by Tiffany & Co. The 39-year-old completed her look with a sparkling diamond bracelet and earrings. I love that she applied minimal makeup and striking red lipstick that drew attention to her lips. She definitely made it to my Oscar Best Dressed Celebrities list!

3. Kerry Washington
The beautiful Kerry Washington wore this bold black and white slit dress. I love her ensemble dress. Makes it look very cat woman like, don’t you agree? The 39-year-old completed her look with smokey eye makeup, a slicked-back ponytail, and black pumps.
4. Margot Robbie
Margot Robbie looked ravishing in this full sleeved gold dress at the awards night. She carried a very classy black clutch and completed her look with her hair down and natural makeup.
5. Naomi Watts
I believe BLUE was the color of last night’s awards night. Naomi Watts looked amazing in her sparkling blue dress. Watts paired her strapless dress with a simple black clutch and a statement necklace. I love how she styled her lob hair. Looks very 50’s.
6. Eniko Parrish
I had to cover Kevin Hart’s fiancée because she absolutely slayed in this black slit dress. I love how beautifully she pulled off her single sleeved dress with sexy stilettos. She kept her makeup very simple and styled her hair slicked back.
7. Alicia Vikander
Ex-Machina actress looked adorable in this strapless yellow ruffled dress. Her dress and her overall look remind me a lot about Belle from ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
8. Cate Blanchet
Some women may not like this sky blue dress Cate Blanchet wore but I loved it. The detailing on the dress looks amazing and Blanchet pulled off this Armani dress pretty well.
9. Olivia Munn
Actress Olivia Munn wore this magnificent saffron dress to the red carpet. She paired her one-shoulder dress with a coiled bracelet and Forevermark Diamond earrings. She styled her hair in a low bun and completed the look with statement red lipstick.
10. Kate Winslet
Kate Winslet appeared at the Oscars 2016 wearing this striking liquid black silk lamé dress. Winslet walked the red carpet with her date Leonardo Dicaprio. She styled her hair in loose curls and completed the look with danglers.
There! Those were my 10 favorite dresses at the red carpet of Oscars 2016. Did I miss anyone? Who was your best-dressed celeb?
