In order to get to the Island, I decided to have my very own private boat experience! I went with the company Dive BVI Sailing on a private boat around the Caribbean is a MUST when going on a luxurious beach vacation. The boat ride was a very fun experience and it was a safe way to travel to the neighbouring islands. Upon arriving at my destination, the boat’s captain parked the boat at the island’s dock and we were ready to begin our British Virgin Islands tour. We went with Jeff; Jeff was very knowledgeable, helpful and fun to be with! The equipment was in good shape.

Clear Waters & White Sand

It is not a complete beach vacation without sipping some drinks from a coconut shell! The stunning crystal-clear waters and endless shades of blue are just a few things that make Jost Van Dyke British Virgin Island, one of the best Caribbean islands to visit. Soggy Dollar Bar

Near the shore, there are a couple of places to eat and things to do in the British Virgin Islands. When visiting, Soggy Dollar Bar is one of the best places to eat in British Islands. Rated as one of the best beach bar shacks in the Caribbean, Soggy Dollar Bar makes an iconic tourist attraction. The Bar is located near the shore where you could enjoy amazing food and drinks while taking a look at paradise – just don’t forget to try one of their famous Painkillers (they do live up to their name)!

Foxy’s Beach Bar

If you plan to go on a Caribbean island bar hop, Foxy’s Beach Bar is another great option for your beach vacation experience. The bar is hosted by the owner himself, Foxy, who makes the visitors experience unforgettable. This bar is very popular around the British Virgin Islands because of its authentic flare and lively atmosphere.

The lively atmosphere was brought to us by a Nigerian DJ, I was ecstatic – needless to say, this bar not only lived up to my expectations, but it also made me want to come back in the near future. Foxy’s Beach Bar is also home to tourist traditions such as hanging t-shirts, items or flags from your home country. Before leaving, make sure you bring something for it to be hung on their wall of glory.

What better way to relax and unwind than by throwing your worries (and yourself) on a hammock? There are plenty of hammocks disbursed around the island for everyone to enjoy. Being able to chill after a long day of exploring was the perfect way to end the day

My experience in BVI was one to remember! There are plenty of things to do such as getting a private boat charter, enjoying the local’s favourite beach bars or even dancing away to Nigerian music. Jost Van Dyke British Virgin Islands is a MUST when having a Caribbean vacation!
